Visions don‘t change the world, masterstrokes do!
Your masterstroke doesn‘t have to be spectacular According to the Islamic framework of success, a masterstroke is a masterstroke and successful if Allah (SWT) accepts it. To ensure acceptance, two vital conditions must be met: a sincere intention to please Allah (SWT) and adherence to the principles of Shariah (Islamic law).
It may so happen that a seemingly small act is not only accepted but greatly appreciated by Allah (SWT). This could be due the intensity and purity of the intention or the sacrifice behind the act; elements which may not be readily apparent.
Just as grand and spectacular masterstrokes have changed the course of history, acts which may seem small to people have created revolutions. It is Allah (SWT) and Allah (SWT) alone who determines the magnitude of the impact of the acts that we do. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran:
‘The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [the reward even more] to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.’ (2:261)
